Since 40 Years, we have been organizing climbing expeditions and trekking holidays in Pakistan for mountaineering enthusiasts from around the World. Trango Adventure operates a 25-35 days long Laila Peak Expedition. We offer full boards and logistic services until the base camp. The duration of the expedition may be longer or shorter, depending on the client’s experience and available time.

Laila Peak Expedition starts from Islamabad. Our representative will meet and greet you at Islamabad International Airport, then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day in Islamabad is at leisure to recover from the journey. We will meet over dinner to give you a detailed briefing about the Laila Peak Expedition. After spending a night in Islamabad, the next day, you will take a breathtaking mountain view flight to Skardu, Baltistan. On route, you will have the first glimpse of great Nanga Parbat, K2, and the other stunning Himalayan & Karakoram Peaks. After 45 minutes, you will arrive in Skardu, check into your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the afternoon meeting your porters or explore the local Bazaar.

Skardu is the Capital City of Baltistan, the getaway to K2, Deosai Plato, Mashebrum, Gasherbrum, Broad Peak, and many other famous Karakoram Peaks. Once, Baltistan was one of the biggest kingdoms of the Himalaya. The habitant of Baltistan speaks the Balti language, a unique form of Tibetan language. English and Urdu languages are also widely spoken and understood.

In Skardu, trekkers and mountain climbers usually do their finale purchasing and top-ups for their adventure journeys. Following day, you will drive along the Mighty Indus then Shyok River to the lush green Khaplu Valley towards Hushey. Hushe is a single street traditional Balti village. Here, for the first time, you will sleep in a tent as there are no hotels. After spending your first night in the tent under the stars, the trekking part of your Laila Peak Expedition will begin. You will walk to Saicho, then to Laila Peak Base Camp.

We will set up our camps at the base camp of Laila Peak, and your nonguided climbing session of the expedition will begin from here onwards. We will camp at the Base Camp for the whole climbing duration. Our guide, Chef, and other staff will stay with you for the entire time. Our chefs will make healthy and nutritious foods during the trek and climbing period. We believe that good nutritious food plays a vital role in out-door sports. After the climbing period, you will follow the same itinerary back to Islamabad. You will spend one night in Islamabad, then the following morning, we will transfer you to Islamabad International Airport for your flight back home.

We strongly believe that our experienced staff and four decades of expertise can make your “Laila Peak Expedition” successful.
